MAM makes no compromises in the search for optimal solutions. The ratio of magazine size to number of tools is phenomenal; more than 1000 tools with HSK-63 holder fit into a MAM-L40 with just 1.3 x 4,7 meter footprint. In order to meet all requirements, 12 models are available in this series built since 2004. The integrated logistics software automatically reads the next 3 tools from the CNC program and stores them in the tool turret. So you are always prepared!

The transporter
Protects your tool shank
The tools are taken up with a transportation adapter which will be handled by the robot head. The implemented plastic protects the tool taper; chips will stick inside the plastic adapter and will not get into the spindle. This results in higher accuracy. Both the adapter and the tool itself are monitored by a sensor. The transporter can also be replaced within a minute – even without tools.
