Permissions

The following discloses the conditions under which the use of copyrighted materials, including images or text owned by MAM machines, is permitted.

Use of Images

MAM does not grant permission for the use of the name or logo of MAM in any manner that mistakenly suggests sponsorship, affiliation or recommendation of third party products, companies or services used by MAM.

MAM permits the use of images of our products or equipment in third party publications only with prior permission. However, MAM does not object to the use of product images by third parties unless such use is derogatory and falls under the definition of “fair use” in the sense of international copyright law.

The use of images in advertising, in books and other printed matter, in the context of public exhibitions, in television programmes and/or on video may be permitted in individual cases. However, written permission from MAM machines is required.

In some cases, photographs on the MAM Machines website or in MAM Machines publications are not the copyright property of MAM Machines and we do not have the right to authorize commercial use or redistribution. After consultation with MAM Machines, you should contact the copyright owner directly.

Use of Texts

Publications of MAM machines:

Trademarks

General guidelines for the use of the trademarks of MAM machines

Trademarks are words, names, manifestations or slogans that distinguish a product and distinguish it from similar products of its competitors. Accordingly, the trademarks of MAM machines are valuable because they stand for the excellence and consistent quality of the products of MAM machines. Once the trademark rights have been acquired, they are to be maintained through appropriate, continuous use of the trademark. It is important to understand how to protect them. Proper use of our trademarks is a high priority for MAM machines, so we have compiled the following guidelines:

Rules to protect the trademarks of MAM machines

Separate the trademarks from other words or the nouns to which they are assigned. Usually, the product name is capitalized and the trademark is marked with the appropriate copyright notice. You can also use underlining, italics or bold.
Use the trademarks of MAM machines as a capitalization term. Trademarks are words that describe a person, place, or object. Use the trademark as a term with the noun to which it is assigned.
If you use the same trademark more than once in a text, you must do so correctly: Use the trademark of MAM machines with the full descriptor at first appearance, along with the trademark notice. The trademark should then appear with the respective noun, but the copyright notice does not need to be used continuously.
Do not combine a trademark/product name of MAM machines with any other trademark/product name. Trademarks are used to identify a product as originating. If trademarks of MAM machines are combined with trademarks or product names of third parties, users may no longer be able to clearly identify the origin of the products.
Do not use trademarks of MAM machines in the possessive or plural form.
Use the appropriate copyright notice in the correct place and attribute it correctly.
Do not abbreviate the trademarks of MAM machines and do not form acronyms.
